VIDEO WINDOW präsentiert Moving Water, Bodies & Souls, ein Programm mit je einer neuen Arbeit der Schweizer Künstlerinnen Nicole Bachmann und Johanna Kotlaris: There are Tides in the Body, 2024 & Humere, 2024. Beide Werke verwenden in einem poetisch bewegten Wechselspiel von Bild, Sprache, Stimme, Körper, Klang und Musik die universelle Metaphorik und Symbolik von Wasser. Sie hinterfragen in unterschiedlicher und berührender Weise die Gesellschaftsordnung und Machtstrukturen, Normen und Grenzen, soziale Gemeinschaft und Individualität.
VIDEO WINDOW presents Moving Water, Bodies & Souls, a programme featuring a new work each by Swiss artists Nicole Bachmann and Johanna Kotlaris: There are Tides in the Body, 2024 & Humere, 2024. Both works draw on the universal imagery and symbolism of water in a poetically dynamic interplay of image, language, voice, body, sound and music. They question in different and touching ways the social order and power structures, norms and boundaries, social community and individuality.
